NFL power rankings: Where things stand after Super Bowl LVIII

The curtains closed on the 2023 season at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday night. In the end, a cloud of confetti came raining down on quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs after their second straight Super Bowl victory.

They cemented themselves as an NFL dynasty with a game-winning drive in overtime to beat the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII.

The Chiefs ran the gauntlet to ultimately win the Lombardi Trophy with wins over the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and 49ers in the postseason. So it should come as no surprise that they’ll be entering the offseason as the No. 1-ranked team in the NFL.

There will be other teams looking to ruin their run in 2024, and they’ll begin the journey towards doing so in free agency and the NFL draft. Here are the final NFL power rankings for the 2023 season, following Super Bowl LVIII.
