NFL postpones Rams-Seahawks game to Tuesday

The NFL has decided to postpone Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks to Tuesday. This is in response to the Rams’ outbreak of COVID-19 cases after 25 players tested positive in the last week.

The game was originally scheduled to be played at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, kickoff is now set for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

This is just one of several changes made by the league to the Week 15 slate. Saturday’s Browns-Raiders game was also moved and will now be played on Monday night at 5 p.m. ET. The Eagles-Washington game will be played on Tuesday, too, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.

Among the Rams’ players who tested positive for COVID-19 in the last week are Jalen Ramsey, Odell Beckham Jr., Darrell Henderson Jr., Rob Havenstein and Von Miller. Vaccinated players must provide two negative tests at least 24 hours apart in order to return from the COVID-19 list, or they must remain on the list for 10 days.
