NFL players send prayers to Titans’ Taylor Lewan after scary injury

It was a scary moment during the Tennessee Titans’ Week 6 contest against the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football” when left tackle Taylor Lewan suffered an injury that had him laying motionless on the field for minutes.

Lewan’s head hit into the back of a Bills defender in the second quarter, leading to the injury. The star left tackle was placed on a stretcher and carted off the field; however, he was able to give a thumbs up on his way off.

Per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, Lewan is being evaluated for a concussion but has feeling in his extremities, which is great news. Lewan is just one of several Titans players to suffer an injury during the contest against the Bills.

After the scary moment occurred on the field, NFL players from around the league took to Twitter to wish Lewan well by sending their prayers to the left tackle.
