NFL player Zac Stacy arrested after sickening domestic abuse video goes viral

Former NFL player Zac Stacy has been arrested for allegedly abusing his former girlfriend, and the mother of his five-month-old child, Kristin Evans in her Florida home on Friday.

A video of the alleged attack has since emerged on social media, as home footage appeared to show Stacy attacking Evans in front of their crying five-month old baby.

In the footage the former New York Jets man appears to repeatedly hit and throw his ex-partner, before pushing Evans into a TV, which eventually fell on top of her.

He then storms out of the house and slams the front door whilst his young child can be heard screaming.

Stacy has now been arrested on two separate felony charges of aggravated assault and criminal mischief, and is currently being held at Orange County Jail according to a TMZ report.

Following the alleged attack 32-year-old Stacy filed a restraining order against her former partner, which - according to the Mail - claims the former NFL player had been abusing her since she fell pregnant with their son.

On Thursday Evans pleaded with the public to help find her ex-partner after claims his friends were ‘hiding him’.

She said: “I just want to say thank you, everyone, who has continued to support me in this ordeal. He's still not apprehended, I don't know why.

“His friends are hiding him. Please, if you know anything, contact your local authorities.”

After the home footage went viral across social media, a number of NFL stars were quick to slam Stacy's alleged actions, including Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.

Adams tweeted: “I’m not retweeting the video but ZAC STACY NEED TO BE THROWN UNDER THE JAIL. Any man that puts his hands on a woman is a coward. Can’t believe what I just saw.”

These sentiments were echoed by former Philadelphia Eagles man Chris Long, who said in a tweet that the video ‘made his stomach turn’.

He posted: “Woke up to the Zac Stacy video. Made my stomach turn. Not retweeting. Crazy to play w someone for a couple years & you have no idea what kind of bullshit they do at home.”
