NFL picks experts don’t like the Bengals in MNF showdown vs. Steelers

Experts once again aren’t big fans of the Cincinnati Bengals.

This time the subject of the picks ahead of the weekend is the team’s trip to Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football for a date with the Steelers.

As of this writing, only 22 percent of the experts polled at NFL Pick Watch think the Bengals can get a win.

Call it an interesting split going into the game given some of the changes the Bengals have made. The franchise was laughably bad in this rivalry during the Marvin Lewis era, but a new coaching staff has arrived.

Also adding to the changes is the fact the Steelers won’t have Ben Roethlisberger on the field.

Then again, in the “negatives” column, this game is on the road and the Bengals haven’t been able to put together a full game while stumbling to 0-3.

This has the feeling of a game that could go either way. But it’s hard to blame experts for siding with the home team and going against a group of players who historically have struggled against their biggest rival.
