NFL picks against the spread, Week 11: Can the Cowboys bounce back against the Vikings?

If you’re going to get a pick wrong, at least let the game be as entertaining as the one between the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. That’s the motto for the rest of the season.

Or you can just be as good as Blake Schuster, who is on a roll after going 10-4 in Week 10 (57-60-5 overall). Charles Curtis went 7-7 (65-80-5), Prince Grimes went 6-8 (66-79-5) and Caroline Darney went 5-9 (66-79-5).

Let’s get a word from everyone before we get into Week 11 picks:

Prince: I desperately need a big week. But this slate doesn’t feel good.

Charles: We’ve got a bunch of weeks to get back to .500.

Blake: Keep your bad vibes away from me. We’re crossing over into profitability this week.

1
Titans at Packers (-3)

Prince: Titans

Derrick Henry is going to hit the Packers in the mouth and wake them up from the dream of a week ago.

Charles: Titans

Thursday night weirdness plus the Packers inconsistency means I’ll take the points.

Blake: Titans

I hate betting Thursday night games. Give me the team that’s 7-2 ATS.

2
Lions at Giants (-3)

Prince: Giants

Another big Saquon Barkley game is on the way, maybe his best yet.

Charles: Giants

Big Blue may win kind of sloppily, but the Giants keep winning and will do so again while facing a vulnerable Lions squad.

Blake: Giants

Expect a low-scoring game and plenty of Saquon Barkley.

3
Jets at Patriots (-3)

Prince: Jets

This could be an ugly game for both quarterbacks.

Charles: Patriots

I worry about Zack Wilson against Bill Belichick. I do like the Jets’ defense, but I can’t bet on that.

Blake: Patriots

I’m with Charles. I just can’t really see the Jets coming into New England and pulling this off, even with the points.

4
Rams at Saints (-4)

Prince: Saints

LA could barely move the ball with Cooper Kupp. I’m not sure how they do it without him.

Charles: Saints

Welp. Quite the Super Bowl hangover.

Blake: Rams

I’ll take the points against a pretty weak New Orleans team and hope the lack of Cooper Kupp forces the Rams to get a bit creative.

5
Eagles at Colts (+6.5)

Prince: Eagles

The Commanders left Indy a nice blueprint to follow, but they also left Indy an angry Eagles team ready to bounce back.

Charles: Eagles

The Colts woke up a bit but are going right back to sleep against Philly.

Blake: Eagles

The Jeff Saturday homecoming vibes should last all of one quarter. This Philly team in a dome is going to cause Indy all sorts of trouble.

6
Browns at Bills (-8)

Prince: Browns

I think the Bills win, but a game potentially played in snow gives the Browns a chance to stay close.

Charles: Browns

SNOW GAME! Take the points!

Blake: Bills

Look at all of you cowards afraid of a little frozen water. The Bills need a big bounce back. I think they’ll embrace the challenge and the elements—their fans certainly will.

7
Bears at Falcons (-3)

Prince: Bears

I’m so glad the Bears aren’t favored, because now I can confidently pick them to cover.

Charles: Bears

Like Chicago has, you’ve got to ride Justin Fields until he cools down. The Falcons will not, in fact, cool down Justin Fields.

Blake: Falcons

Have you guys not been paying attention? The Bears are executing the perfect tank. Their offense puts up a million points, the defense lets up a billion. Take the Falcons team that always finds a way to keep the spread in play.

8
Panthers at Ravens (-11)

Prince: Ravens

This spread is big but the Panthers are a different team when they aren’t playing Marcus Mariota and the Falcons.

Charles: Ravens

Coming off the bye, with some improvements on defense, the Ravens are a team to back this week.

Blake: Panthers

That’s too many points this late in the season, even with all the turmoil in Carolina.

9
Commanders at Texans (+3)

Prince: Commanders

Washington is feeling good about itself, getting Chase Young back and playing a bad Texans team.

Charles: Commanders

As long as Taylor Heinicke is the QB this week, I feel comfortable with this one.

Blake: Texans

Home underdogs against a fraudulent NFC East team? Count me in.

10
Raiders at Broncos (-2.5)

Prince: Raiders

Smh. Going back to the Raiders like I said I wouldn’t. Not actually betting on this gross game though.

Charles: Broncos

Let’s get weird. Denver stinks, but the Raiders STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK.

Blake: Broncos

Sure, why not? Give me literally one reason to trust the Raiders with anything. I’ll wait.

11
Cowboys at Vikings (+1)

Prince: Vikings

Earlier in the week I leaned Cowboys, but now I don’t know. If Green Bay can light up that secondary, so can Minnesota.

Charles: Vikings

In a pick ’em of playoff teams, I’ll back the home squad. Barely.

Blake: Cowboys

The line on this game has been weird all week. I should want to take Minnesota at home but I’m going to trust the oddsmakers and believe Buffalo may be overrated and Dallas is heating up.

12
Bengals at Steelers (+4.5)

Prince: Bengals

I don’t make this pick with much confidence, but it feels better than taking the Steelers.

Charles: Bengals

Would it shock me if the Steelers found a way to cover? No.

Blake: Steelers

I’m back to betting on Mike Tomlin as a home dog, which proved unprofitable early in the year so the law of averages should be on my side.

13
Chiefs at Chargers (+6.5)

Prince: Chargers

It looks like the Chargers are getting their receivers back, so I think they push KC in another close loss.

Charles: Chargers

I’m with Prince. The Chargers can find ways to cover, even if it’s one of the backdoor variety.

Blake: Chiefs

Remember when the AFC West was considered a toss up and the Kansas City dynasty was over? I don’t think the Chiefs have forgotten.

14
49ers at Cardinals (+8)

Prince: 49ers

Whether or not Kyler Murray plays, I’m looking for San Francisco’s defense to bring it.

Charles: 49ers

A long day for whoever’s under center for Arizona.

Blake: Cardinals

Home dog by more than a touchdown? Thank you very much!
