NFL pick em Week 6: Who the experts are taking in Ravens vs. Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens host their AFC North rival in the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 6. Oddsmakers are predicting a big victory for the Ravens, and pundits around the league seem to be agreeing. Every NFL pick em expert has predicted a Baltimore victory over Cincinnati but the final scores differ wildly.

Let’s take a closer look at what the experts are thinking in Week 6.

NFL.com: Ravens (31-21)

“Who would have thought the 2019 AFC North would be so forgiving? The Ravens’ once-airtight roster displays new holes each week, with safety Tony Jefferson’s ACL injury the latest setback. Lamar Jackson is turning the ball over too much, and the team’s running game is not quite as dominant as hoped, but the Ravens should still escape Week 6 with a 4-2 record and in possession of two division wins. (The standings won’t show that those two wins were collected against the Steelers’ third-string QB and the hapless Bengals.) The Ravens are talented enough — and smart enough — to adjust on the fly, covering those roster holes as the season wears on.”

ESPN: Ravens

Of the nine pundits at ESPN that picked games this week, all nine are predicting a Baltimore victory.

SB Nation: Ravens

All 10 experts, including Baxter the dog, are going with the Ravens in this matchup.

CBS Sports – Pete Prisco: Ravens (30-16)

“The Ravens are coming off a tough, physical game with the Steelers, which can impact a team at times. Not here. The Bengals have issues on both sides of the ball, which I think will show up. Lamar Jackson will have a big day throwing it and running it like Kyler Murray did against the Bengals last week.”

Sporting News: Ravens (38-21)

“NFL’s worst rushing defense, meet NFL’s best rushing offense. If this game is not as ugly as (or uglier than) expected, we can only chalk it up to the NFL being weird and unpredictable. We’ve already reached the point of the season when Baltimore fans are contemplating their team’s playoff chances, and Cincinnati fans are picturing Tua Tagovailoa in a Bengals uniform.”

USA TODAY Sports: Ravens

All seven experts are predicting the Ravens to win this week. None of the pundits have the game closer than eight points, with several thinking it’ll be a double-digit margin of victory.
