For the 13th straight year, London will play host to the NFL, and for the first time, the Houston Texans will finally be making the long journey across the pond.
NFL On Location has announced a partnership with the Texans to provide an unforgettable experience in the cold British fall.
“We are excited to be working with the NFL and each of the 10 participating teams to offer fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch their teams play in London and Mexico City,” said CEO of On Location Experiences, John Collins.
“This year the NFL will play five games abroad, allowing more teams and their passionate fans to travel abroad to take part in the excitement. Through our direct partnerships, On Location is able to provide guests with unique experiences that will get them closer to the game and immersed in these cultural meccas.”
These packages can include the roundtrip airfare from Houston to London, four nights at the Hilton London on Park Lane, a double-decker bus tour & the London Eye Experience, a private dinner cruise down the River Thames and much more.
Bill O’Brien’s side head to the English capital to play divisional rivals the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on November 3rd. This will serve as a Jacksonville home game and will offer the growing local Jaguars fanbase an opportunity to show their support for their ‘home’ team.
While the Jaguars may be the team of choice for many locals, do expect to see plenty of Texans jerseys, however, as the ever-faithful Houston fans descend on London come early November. For many, this will be their first-ever glimpse of Texans football and possibly the only time they will see the likes of J.J. Watt, Deshaun Watson, and DeAndre Hopkins in person.
