The Denver Broncos (0-1) are considered 2.5-point underdogs against the Chicago Bears (0-1) in Week 2, according to BetMGM. Oddsmakers clearly don’t have faith in the Broncos despite the fact they will be playing at home.
Denver is coming off a 24-16 road loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 1. Chicago is coming off a 10-3 home loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Sunday’s contest will mark the first time Broncos coach Vic Fangio has faced his former team. Fangio served as the Bears’ defensive coordinator from 2015-2018 and helped them rank first in points allowed last season.
The over/under for combined points scored between the two teams is 40.5. Chicago and Denver combined to score just 19 points in Week 1.
The Broncos were considered a 2.5-point favorite in Week 1 and lost by eight points. The Bears were considered 3-point favorites in Week 1 and lost by seven points.
