NFL Network to feature Chiefs in 2019 NFL draft war room coverage

The NFL has announced that the Kansas City Chiefs will be one of 23 teams to allow behind-the-scenes access to NFL Network cameras in their 2019 NFL draft war room.

Here are the other 22 teams that will allow the NFL access to their war rooms: Cardinals, 49ers, Jets, Buccaneers, Giants, Lions, Bills, Broncos, Packers, Falcons, Panthers, Vikings, Titans, Steelers, Seahawks, Texans, Eagles, Colts, Chargers, Rams, Cowboys and Browns.

With this coverage, you’ll see reactions and Chiefs executives talking or discussing possible selections. Typically you can see a variety of draft boards in the background, but don’t expect to make out too much of the players on them.

This isn’t the first time the Chiefs have allowed camera access inside their war room. In fact, they’ve been allowing this type of coverage for the past several seasons. They even have their own cameras in there to capture some very special moments, like when Patrick Mahomes was selected in 2017:

In addition to the war room coverage from NFL Network, the first round will feature analysis and banter from the following hosts, analysts, and personalities: Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah, Kurt Warner, David Shaw, Charles Davis, Steve Smith Sr., Chris Rose and Ian Rapoport.

They’ll also have Deion Sanders doing live on-stage interviews with prospects in attendance following their selection in the first round.

The first round of the draft begins on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. CT. To find out more about the other offerings NFL Network and NFL.com will have throughout the draft, click here.
