NFL Network’s ‘The Top 100 Players of 2019’ begins July 22

NFL Network’s “The Top 100 Players of 2019” arrives on July 22.

The countdown, tallied by 1,098 ballots collected from players around the league, is an annual event that has become unique via its behind-the-scenes look at how players feel about their co-workers around the league.

This year’s event starts July 22 at 9 p.m. ET and airs on six consecutive nights. There will then be a top-10 reveal show over the course of two hours on July 31.

A year ago, two Cincinnati Bengals made the list via appearances from A.J. Green and Geno Atkins.

Atkins should probably end up on the list again, though there is a chance Green falls off of it after missing so many games last season.

Looking ahead, the Bengals could have more candidates a year from now if the new coaching staff gets things moving in the right direction. Either way, Green and Atkins should remain mainstays.
