There are a handful of well-known names floating throughout the Washington Redskins defense, and a new one may be joining the ranks soon.
Last week, NFL Network released its ‘All-Under 25 team’ that features a young talent from the Washington defensive-line — Jonathan Allen.
The 24-year-old out of Alabama has made a name for himself so far in his young career, highlighted by putting up eight sacks in 2018. Placing him in between both Ryan Kerrigan and Montez Sweat should have Washington’s front seven in a prime position to terrorize opposing QBs on Sundays.
If Allen can continue to put up stats at the current clip, then he will soon be mentioned with the other big names on the Redskins’ defense — Landon Collins, Josh Norman, and Kerrigan. He may not have the experience that those vets possess, but the talent is definitely there.
