NFL Network expert predicts Redskins will go 2-14 in 2019

Some experts aren’t big on the Washington Redskins in 2019.

NFL Network’s Adam Rank, for example, sees the Redskins winning only two games, as seen in the video above.

Those wins happen in Week 7 at home against the San Francisco 49ers and Week 12 against the Detroit Lions, meaning the Redskins get swept by the entire NFC East and start the season at 0-6.

There are plenty of problems with this, of course. While the Redskins have a question mark under center going into the season, the defense should be among the top half of the league again, as should the offensive line, if not the running game.

Granted, the start of the schedule is brutal considering it consists of two NFC East games and a date with Chicago. Also within the first five weeks is a date with New England.

At the least, that start will give the team a chance to get a firm answer on whoever happens to be starting under center while otherwise leaning on fundamentals like the running game.

This sort of regression shouldn’t hit the Redskins even after they had one of the league’s most injured-riddled rosters last season. Weigh in with your record predictions below.
