NFL Minute: Would Le’Veon Bell be a fit with the Ravens?

After a series of Instagram likes and posts, there has been rampant speculation about the possibility of disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell defecting to the Baltimore Ravens this offseason.

Practically, it makes a lot of sense. While the Ravens finished as the No. 2 rushing team in football last season, their running backs — outside of Buck Allen and Ty Montgomery — did not exactly flourish in the passing game. That’s the precise area where Bell can improve the team’s performance.

Then, of course, is the rivalry factor. Acquiring Bell would give the Ravens a chance to stick it to the Steelers and guarantee they would not have to defend against the superstar running back for the foreseeable future.

Tim Benz notes that during Le’Veon’s five-year NFL career, no team has surrendered more rushing yards, receptions or touchdowns against him than Baltimore.
