NFL GMs trying to push date of 2020 NFL draft back

We have already seen significant changes to the NFL offseason including the 2020 NFL draft and there could be more coming. According to EPSN reporter Dianna Russini, NFL general managers voted unanimously to ask the league to move the draft date to a point later in the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Russini, the NFL is going to continue to hold the draft date on April 23-25 for now. The league has already chosen to dump the traditional format of a fan experience to a studio experience for public safety. But as of now, the date of the draft isn’t going to change.

You can’t fault GMs for wanting to push things back. Teams have not had an opportunity to scout prospects and it only makes sense they’d like a little extra time to prepare and make sure they do not make any mistakes.

Do you think the NFL should push the draft back and give teams a better chance to prepare?
