NFL free agency: Le’Veon Bell plans to sign with Jets; was the asking price to much for Eagles?

NFL free agency can now officially begin in some sense, as Adam Schefter is reporting that Le’Veon Bell intends to sign with the New York Jets.

It’s unknown at that point if the Eagles had any serious conversations with Bell and his agent in terms of compensation or a possible deal. Now the former Steelers star will reportedly sign a four year, $52 million deal.

Schefter is reporting that Bell never negotiated with the Ravens, and only had conversations with a few teams around the league, in a market, that never materialized for the controversial, yet talented running back.
