Projected Contracts, Landing Spots for the NFL’s 50 Best Free Agents in 2026|When Does 2026 NFL Free Agency Start?|NFL Free Agency Guide for All 32 Teams

The NFL’s free agency frenzy is almost upon us!

On March 9, teams can negotiate with player agents during the NFL’s legal tampering period. Two days later, at 4 p.m. ET on March 11, the start of the league’s new year (and the start of free agency) begins. It is also on this day that all 2025 contracts expire, allowing unrestricted free agents to sign with new teams.

Player movement is one of the most exciting parts of the NFL offseason, especially nowadays when so many big-name players switch uniforms via either free-agent deals or trades. We’ve already seen two notable deals: David Montgomery was traded to the Texans, and DJ Moore was dealt to the Bills

All of these moves will have major implications in the world of fantasy football. With that said, here are some of the players who are scheduled to become available as free agents or via trades, along with their best landing spots both in real and fantasy football.
