NFL flexes Joe Burrow’s first game vs. Steelers to later kickoff time

The NFL flexed the Week 10 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers to a later kickoff.

Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the first meeting between Joe Burrow and the Steelers will shift to a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff instead of the traditional 1 p.m. ET timeslot.

It’s not the most dramatic change in the world by any means, but it’s pretty interesting considering the Bengals had just one non-1 p.m. kickoff the rest of the season.

Fittingly, Burrow’s first meet with the Steelers is one now getting a shift. And those Steelers are off to a 6-0 start, so it isn’t hard to see why the NFL wanted to shift the game into a more premier-looking slot.

Before worrying about this schedule change, the Bengals have to play Tennessee this week and then get a Week 9 bye.
