The NFL finalized adjusted salary cap numbers for NFL teams on Monday, helping the Cincinnati Bengals settle on a $226,608,736 adjusted salary cap.
In essence, the league confirmed what we already knew about the team’s salary cap after adjusting for rollover money and other minor factors.
The important detail? Cincinnati — at least for now — has $35.6 million in free salary cap space.
That number could change dramatically in a matter of days and weeks, depending on what the Bengals do with their free agents, extension candidates and even cap casualty candidates.
For now, the Bengals still rank among the teams with the most free cap space heading into free agency.

The NFL has finalized its year-end club adjustments, which factor in incentives, roster bonuses, carryover cap space, etc. That figure was then added to or subtracted from $224.8M to determine each team’s adjusted cap number for 2023.
