NFL fans weren’t pleased to find ‘Judge Judy’ on Fox instead of the Washington-Steelers game

While the entire concept of playing professional football during a pandemic has been shaky, at best, the NFL’s figure-it-out-as-they-go scheduling has brought fans some unique opportunities to watch games.

We’ve had Tuesday and Wednesday games already this season. And Monday presented fans with the rare doubleheader of games with the Steelers-Washington Football Team matchup preceding Bills-Niners (a game that was relocated to Arizona amid Santa Clara’s COVID restrictions).

But for the vast majority of fans tuning in on Monday to watch Steelers-WFT, they weren’t treated to football on Fox. Nope.

The game kept its regional classification, and there were plenty of Fox stations that went with Judge Judy instead of football. Look at that coverage map:

Big yikes.

As you might have guessed, fans weren’t happy to have those football-watching plans foiled by a daytime television judge.

I guess we now know how all those 60 Minutes viewers feel every Sunday (except on the West Coast, of course).
