NFL fans were livid that there was no ‘Collinsworth Slide’ before Hall of Fame Game

Football (kinda) returned Thursday night as the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons are squaring off in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

The NBC Sunday Night Football team is calling the game so you know what that means – everyone was looking forward to seeing the first “Collinsworth Slide,” that weird thing that went viral during every NBC SNF game last season, of the year.

It makes no sense why so many people loved it, but it did become a fun thing as fans came to love when Cris Collisnworth would slide in to the opening on-camera pregame chat with Al Michaels.

That didn’t happen tonight, as Michaels and Collinsworth sat with their backs to the wall while breaking down the 2019 HOF Class before the players were introduced on the field.

Fans were livid about being robbed of a “Collinsworth Slide.” C’mon, NBC:
