NFL fans roasted the Rams for sticking with their awful new logo

The Los Angeles Rams will be among four NFL teams — along with the Falcons, Bucs and Browns — to go through a complete uniform change for the 2020 season. That includes a new logo and colors.

And two weeks ago, fans got an early look at what the Rams’ new logo was expected to look like when an NFL Draft cap leaked on Twitter. The reaction to that logo was incredibly negative with many pointing out that the logo could have easily been confused with a Los Angeles Chargers logo.

While the Chargers had previously scrapped a logo amid negative feedback, the Rams are deciding to stick with the much-maligned logo. They unveiled the new logos and colors on Monday with a social media video.

As you can see, the primary logo — with more defined colors — was what leaked two weeks ago. The Rams will also have a secondary logo of an old-school Rams head.

But still, they decided to scrap the widely popular Rams logo that they’ve had for decades — the same logo that their $5 billion stadium is going to be shaped like.

As expected, two weeks did not do any favors to the Rams from NFL fans.

Time to go back to the drawing board, Rams.
