John Elway can’t help himself when it comes to acquiring bad big-name quarterbacks.
The Broncos GM and president has spent the years since Peyton Manning’s retirement looking for an answer at quarterback and failing terribly to do so. There’s been Brock Osweiler (twice!), Trevor Siemian, Case Keenum and first-round bust Paxton Lynch.
On Wednesday, the Broncos repeated their pattern of laughable quarterback decisions and traded for Joe Flacco.
The former Ravens quarterback is 34 years old and coming off a season that saw him lose his job to Lamar Jackson. NFL fans were not kind to Elway after this latest move.
