The Cowboys went into the Week 6 matchup looking to end a two-game losing streak, but those hopes were quickly put on hold when the Jets jumped out to a huge first-half lead in Sam Darnold’s return.
Though the Cowboys did rally back to get within two points in the final minute, questionable time management and a failed two-point conversion locked up an embarrassing 24-22 loss for the suddenly skidding Cowboys.
Dallas went from a team that looked to be turning a corner at 3-0 only to lose three straight games. NFL fans were quick to blame Jason Garrett for the Cowboys’ struggles.
The Cowboys face Philadelphia next week before heading into the bye.
