NFL fans roasted Carson Wentz after his horrible game against the Seahawks

The Philadelphia Eagles scored a season-low nine points in Sunday’s home loss to the Seattle Seahawks. And the problem wasn’t exactly difficult to identify:

Carson Wentz.

The Eagles quarterback put together one of his worst performances of the season, throwing two interceptions and fumbling three times (two lost). Despite completing 33 of 45 pass attempts for 256 yards and a touchdown, Wentz consistently looked uncomfortable even in low-pressure situations. He missed running backs in the flat by a mile. He just wasn’t moving like a quarterback with his mobility should.

It was not a good day … at all.

Few quarterbacks face the type of expectations that Wentz deals with in Philadelphia. The team won the Super Bowl with Nick Foles and subsequently parted ways with Foles. Instead, the Eagles gave Wentz a $128 million deal, and he’s since failed to live up to that contract.

But hey, at least Wentz can take solace in knowing that Philadelphia Eagles fans are a patient, forgiving bunch with no tendency to overreact.
