NFL fans rip refs for not calling pass interference on final play of Vikings-Broncos

Nobody, it seems, knows that a catch is in the NFL. Now, it seems, we have no idea what pass interference is any more.

And by “we” I mean NFL refs, who continued to struggle Sunday as it looked like the crew working the Broncos-Vikings game in Minnesota missed what could have been three pass interference calls on the final three plays of the game, including one on that last play in the end zone that ended up being an incomplete pass that gave the Vikings a 27-23 win.

On third-and-goal from the 4 yard line, Broncos QB Brandon Allen threw a pass to Noah Fant that the WR couldn’t handle:

While both players had some contact on that play, a closer look shows that Jayron Kearse had a nice hold of Fant’s jersey:

Fans were not impressed with the refs:

Three straight filthy pass interference calls in the end zone that these referees missed. The @nfl should be embarrassed. Stole the game for Chicago against the @broncos and then did it again in Indy and now in Minnesota… This is bull.

Just saw the final play of the #Broncos/#Vikings play. There was blatantly both offensive and defensive pass interference; neither was even debatable. Should Denver have gotten another play? Was that reviewable?

No preference in who won, just curious.

lol the amount of pass interference the Minnesota Vikings were allowed to commit on that final series was completely absurd. Either way, that's an impressive win all around given the hole they were in. Epic collapse by the Broncos.

How is that not pass interference??! Noah Fant got tossed to the ground. Ridiculous. #Broncos become the first team in FIVE years to lead by 20 points at halftime and lose. Previous teams were 99-0.

That was pass interference on the end of broncos/vikings but why would the booth do their job and not end the game? @NFL @NFLOfficiating if you guys are gonna allow pass interference replay you need to utilize it and not just let games end because the media stormed the field
