NFL fans had lots of jokes about Roger Goodell’s basement at the start of the draft

The first round of the 2020 NFL Draft is underway and, yeah, it didn’t take long to see and feel just how different this one is going to be than any other draft before it.

Because it started in Roger Goodell’s basement, which is just weird.

This draft, of course, is being done virtually as we all do our best to battle the coronavirus and keep people safe.

That means Goodell will be announcing all the picks from his basement, instead of on a stage in Las Vegas where this was thing was originally scheduled to be held.

Goodell gave a tour of his basement before the start of the draft:
