NFL fans destroyed Kirk Cousins after his terrible interception in the end zone

Kirk Cousins has been awful in his career against teams with a winning record, so in a sense, nobody should have been surprised about his performance against the Packers on Sunday.

After the Packers jumped out to an early 21-0 lead in Green Bay, the Vikings put together a rally thanks to a big run from Dalvin Cook and a Stefon Diggs touchdown.

The teams went the next five possessions exchanging punts until Cousins led a drive deep into Packers territory with Minnesota down by five in the fourth quarter.

Then, Classic Kirk Cousins happened.

Cousins appeared to try to throw away his first-and-goal pass, but the ball — thrown off his back foot — hung up in the air and remained in play. That was all the Packers’ Kevin King needed to make the acrobatic interception.

It was a turnover that simply couldn’t happen in that situation, especially when you have an $84 million quarterback.

Fans went on to rip Cousins for the ill-advised pick.

The Packers would hold on to win, 21-16.
