No one could have possibly thought that Aaron Rodgers’ first season with the New York Jets would end four plays into Week 1.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. Rodgers’ 2023 season is officially over thanks to a torn Achilles suffered on a sack from Leonard Floyd during his first drive with the Jets. Even though New York won their season opener against the Buffalo Bills in dramatic fashion, give any Jets fan in your life a hug today. They certainly need it.
With New York looking at QB1 Zach Wilson for the remainder of the 2023 season, the Jets’ Super Bowl odds have plummeted dramatically as the team grapples with Rodgers’ devastating injury. And yet, NFL fans have found a sliver of hope for the Jets going forward. Enter Tom Brady.
