NFL fans call for Dan Snyder to sell Washington NFL team following report

Dan Snyder’s tenure as the owner of the Washington Redskins franchise has been rife with controversy, and following the publication of a shocking Washington Post report in which 15 former female Redskins employees exposed a toxic workplace culture, fans are once again calling for Snyder to sell the team.

On Thursday, the Washington Post published a lengthy report titled “From Dream Job To Nightmare,” which details allegations of sexual harassment and workplace misconduct gathered from 15 former employees. Although Snyder was not accused by any of the women personally, the allegations span a 13-year period, all under Snyder’s watch. Some of the Redskins employees accused of misconduct have recently left their positions. Hours before publication of the story, it was reported that the Redskins have hired attorney Beth Wilkinson to “conduct a deep dive into the organization’s past culture,” per Adam Schefter.

There has long been a contingent among the Washington fanbase for Snyder to sell the team, and Thursday’s report sparked a new wave of calls for the NFL to act against Snyder.
