NFL experts, insiders predict who’ll win the NFC East

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are just days away from a massive showdown at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday that afternoon, that’ll determine the winner of the NFC East division.

Experts and analysts from around the league have offered their opinion and ESPN’s boatload of insiders weighed-in with their predictions.

Matt Bowen, Mike Clay, Dan Graziano, and Field Yates all picked the Cowboys and deemed the better team. Only Jeremy Fowler, who covers the Steelers for ESPN.com, picked the Eagles based on the recent uptick in Carson Wentz’s clutch gene.

It must be stated that when these two teams meet with the division on the line, the Eagles are usually the team that comes out victorious based on past history.

The Eagles routed the Cowboys 44-6 in 2008 and were able to secure a 24-22 win during the 2013 season, with a playoff berth on the line in each matchup.

The scenario is simple to figure out, the Cowboys win the NFC East with a win in Philly, while the Eagles need to beat Dallas and the New York Giants in Week 17 to earn the playoff spot, or some semblance of a Redskins upset in the season finale also.
