This week undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges will get his first start and it is against future Hall of Famer Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers. The odds aren’t great for the Steelers and NFL pundits tend to agree.
According to NFL Pick Watch the Chargers are landslide winners about experts with 99 percent of experts going with Los Angeles. The one dissenting opinion so far is Dallas Cowboys writer Alaina Getzenberg.
It is hard to fault any NFL expert who has lost faith in the Steelers at this point. Right now the team is probably just hoping to make a good show against the Chargers, don’t have any more injuries and limp into the bye week and attempt to sort out a plan for the last 10 games of a lost season.
