Even oddsmakers have decided Joe Burrow to the Cincinnati Bengals via the first pick in the 2020 NFL draft is a lock.
While NFL odds have generally leaned toward Burrow going to the Bengals as a matter of self-preservation, now the folks behind the lines aren’t even being shy about it.
According to ESPN’s Ben Fawkes, FanDuel Sportsbook has listed Burrow to the Bengals at -100,000.
Or as Fawkes points out, that’s betting $1,000 just to win $1.
Not a bet worth taking at this point, obviously, though it probably doesn’t hurt for Bengals fans to see such a funny line on the Monday before the draft.
Thursday, the only thing stopping Burrow from hearing his name called by the Bengals is an upset of historic proportions — just ask the ridiculous lines ahead of the event.
