ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has been on hand to do NFL Draft analysis in past years with the Worldwide Leader, but not in 2022.
Like Mel Kiper Jr., he’s missing out on the trip to Las Vegas, but it’s for a different reason, one that he tweeted in a video earlier this week.
“Doctors have recently found a blood clot in my system,” he explained. “And so, very fortunate to have really good doctors who I trust. I feel good, but out of an abundance of caution, I think I’m just going to take a step back from this year’s draft coverage.”
