Another week down and some teams continue to have their records fall and their hopes for a better draft pick rise after the 11th week of the NFL season.
11. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have lost seven games and have an immediate problem at quarterback as Philip Rivers seems to have been run down by Father Time. Highly unlikely he gets to that coveted Super Bowl and what will the Bolts do since their pick likely won’t be high enough to grab one of the elite QBs.
10. Detroit

The Lions make an appearance in the Top — Bottom? — 10 with the loss to Dallas, which drops them to 3-6-1. Interestingly, the Lions and Cardinals are the teams that played to a tie in the first week of the season.
9. Arizona

The Cardinals found defeat in a game they seemed to be on the way to victory, blowing a 16-0 lead against San Francisco, then losing a late lead and somehow becoming the team Vegas loved to hate in Week 11 with a bizarre Niner touchdown at the finish. Last week: 10
8. Atlanta

The Falcons are on a roll. They have won two in a row in convincing fashion over NFC South foes. They get a third divisional opponent this week as they face the stumbling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last week: 6
7. Denver

Another team that found a way to blow a huge leads — 20-0 over Minnesota — en route to another painfully close defeat. The Broncos are so close to a better record. That shouldn’t fool anyone going forward as good teams find a way to win some of these games, which Denver hasn’t. Last week: 9
6. Tampa Bay

The Bucs are 3-7 and seem to be in the same swamp they have been for seasons despite adding Bruce Arians. Week 11 saw a loss to New Orleans at home. Jameis Winston continues to prove he is not the answer, throwing for a quartet of picks. Will there be a QB sitting for Tampa at six? Actually, the way the Bucs are playing they could move up in the draft. Last week 8
5. New York Jets

Watch out for Sam Darnold and the Jets. They have won two in a row. Oh, the opponents are a combined 3-17. While there isn’t much interest in the regular season for Gang Green, there will be somewhat of a test to see if Adam Gase actually has them on the improve with Oakland coming to New Jersey in Week 12. Last week: 5
4. Miami Dolphins

The prosperous ways of Miami ended as Buffalo paid a visit to South Beach and dropped Brian Flores’ Dolphins to 2-8. Guess the victory over Indy can be chalked up to Brian Hoyer at QB instead of Jacoby Brissett. Are the Dolphins going to flounder, oof, again? Last week: 4
3. New York Giants

The Giants had their bye week so they didn’t move anywhere. They will visit the Chicago Bears in Week 12, in an opportunity for Mitchell Trubisky to show he can do something against Daniel Jones in a UNC-Duke battle. Would not expect to see Big Blue snap its current losing streak on the road.
2. Washington Redskins

And Washington is awash is losses Bill Callahan’s interim title seemingly won’t stick after the season as Washington was clubbed by the Jets at home. The losing streak is at four and it has been outscored 86-35. Going down? Last week; 2
1. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals became the first team to reach double-digit losses, They scored 10 points in their 10th loss of the season, which came by only a TD. Pittsburgh pays a visit this week off its sluggish performance against Cleveland. Could this be the one? Last week: 1
