NFL Draft 2020: A LB in every round for the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are just hours from making virtual draft history and as we take a look at the prospects on a round by round basis, linebacker could become a position of need in the middle to late rounds.

With the Eagles set to be on the clock, here’s a linebacker in every round for the Eagles.

Wilson is a tough and rugged linebacker with a motor to match his intensity. He finished his collegiate career with 249 solo tackles, seven sacks, 34.5 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and 10 interceptions.

A smart and instinctive football player, Wilson could be a valuable day 3 option for the Eagles.

8. Akeem Davis-Gaither | LB | Appalachian State

Davis-Gaither is an active linebacker who excels at rapidly filling running lanes and tipping passes in coverage.

Built-in the mode of Nigel Bradham, Davis-Gaither has great speed, can tackle in the open field, and can cover tight ends and wideouts.

4.Jordyn Brooks, Texas Tech

Brooks has an incredible motor, which allows him to make plays in space while racking up tackle after tackle.

5. Casey Toohill, Stanford

More edge-rusher than a true linebacker, Toohill started all 12 games as a fifth-year senior, earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors after leading his team with 11.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks and 60 tackles.

6. Shaun Bradley, Temple

Bradley is an athletic linebacker who has been a leader for the Owls since his sophomore season.

Bradley led Temple with 85 tackles (10 for loss, one sack, one interception) in 2017. As a junior, he was again consistent, recording 78 stops (four for loss) and two interceptions — one returned for a touchdown.

In his final season for the Owls, Bradley earned second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors after leading the Owls with 87 tackles, eight for loss, and three pass breakups.

7. Shaquille Quarterman, Miami (Fla.)

If the Eagles allow Nigel Bradham to walk, Quarterman could be the perfect mid-round replacement at middle linebacker.

Standing 6’1, 241 lbs, Quarterman earned All-ACC honors for the second year in a row and logged a 77.8 grade from PFF.

Quarterman stands out against the run but struggles in space when asked to play zone.

2.Logan Wilson, Wyoming 3.Akeem Davis-Gaither, Appalachian State
