Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.
On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.
Here is my optimal lineup for Thursday's NFL Showdown $2.25 million Thursday Night Millionaire contest featuring the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.
All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget, and you need at least one player from each team.
— Captain: RB Aaron Jones, Packers ($13,500)
Jones is RB7 in both standard and PPR formats this season and should see an increase in an already heavy workload with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard on the COVID-19 list.
— Flex: QB Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($12,000)
Murray has been QB8 since Week 5 despite rushing for only 17 yards on 20 attempts. His floor is a ceiling for most.
— Flex: QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers ($11,400)
I trust Rodgers to find a way despite missing his top two receivers and this could end up being a contrarian pick. Rodgers has thrown 17 touchdowns in six games without Adams since 2019 and averaged 311 yards in those contests.
— Flex: WR Rondale Moore, Cardinals ($4,800)
Moore actually leads Arizona in targets per route run since Week 5, which means Kliff Kingsbury is making an effort to involve the rookie. He's a threat to score whenever he has the ball in his hands.
— Flex: TE Robert Tonyan, Packers ($4,600)
Tonyan is a boom-or-bust option on a weekly basis, but this is an all-hands-on-deck situation.
— Flex: WR Randall Cobb, Packers ($3,600)
With almost 46% of Green Bay's targets missing in action, the veteran slot machine has a chance to turn back the clock.
