Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.
On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.
Here is my optimal lineup for Sunday's $3.25 million Fantasy Football Millionaire contest, but can be utilized as a foundation in other games and platforms.
All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget.
These lineups have netted $245, so that leaves me $35 in the hole.
QB: Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($7,900)
A premium matchup against the Lions is a smash spot for Murray, coming off a difficult loss against a division rival. He's averaging 60 yards and a touchdown on the ground in his first two games back after missing a month.
RB: James Robinson, Jaguars ($5,400)
According to interim head coach Darrell Bevell, Robinson will be treated as the starting running back and Carlos Hyde remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, so Robinson should see a significant workload against Houston (28th against the run this season).
RB: Jeff Wilson, 49ers ($5,000)
Wilson hasn't produced eyepopping numbers in his previous two starts this season — 106 yards on 32 carries — so hopefully this will keep him from being chalk. Eight of Atlanta's 13 opponents have scored at least 25 points on DraftKings at the running back position.
WR: Diontae Johnson, Steelers ($7,500)
Johnson has received double-digit targets in 10 of the 12 games he's played this season. He had nine receptions (15 targets) for 80 yards and two touchdowns against Tennessee last season. Not much has changed for the Titans' secondary.
WR: Julio Jones, Titans ($5,400)
Jones has a very favorable matchup against cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon in what should be a competitive game against Pittsburgh. Witherspoon ranks fourth in receiving yards per reception given up (17.8) and we're due a vintage performance from the future Hall of Famer.
WR: Christian Kirk, Cardinals ($5,300)
Detroit ranks 26th in passer rating allowed to wide receivers aligned in the slot (117.9) but fifth when lined up out wide (81.7), meaning Kirk is more likely than AJ Green to take advantage of DeAndre Hopkins' absence.
TE: Mark Andrews, Ravens ($6,400)
Whomever is under center for Baltimore will heavily target Andrews and this provides leverage against the field, which will likely condense on George Kittle.
FLEX: DeVante Parker, Dolphins ($4,300)
Parker has finished as the WR17, WR18 and WR28 in his last three games and Jaylen Waddle was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
DST: Jacksonville Jaguars ($2,800)
Call it a hunch that a weight has been lifted off this team with the firing of Urban Meyer.
