Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.
On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.
Here is my optimal lineup for the $2.25 million Thursday Night Showdown contest featuring the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.
All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget, and you need at least one player from each team.
— Captain: TE Mike Gesicki, Dolphins ($11,100)
Baltimore has allowed at least six receptions, 50 yards or a touchdown to tight ends in seven of eight games this season. A potential negative game script favors a big day for Gesicki.
— Flex: QB Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($13,800)
Jackson has finished as the QB2, QB20, QB7, QB1 his last four games and is the QB2 overall this season.
— Flex: TE Mark Andrews, Ravens ($8,800)
Miami also struggle against tight ends. Andrews has at least five receptions or a touchdown in six of the last seven games.
— Flex: WR Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins ($8,200)
DeVante Parker and Will Fuller are both sidelined with Waddle receiving double-digit targets in three of the last four games — he had eight in the one he didn't reach that mark.
— Flex: WR Rashod Bateman, Ravens ($5,800)
Miami has allowed the second-most yards (1,735) and touchdowns (12) to wide receivers. Bateman is a great option if you can't fit Marquise Brown into your lineup, with at least six targets in every game he's played this season.
— Flex: TE Durham Smythe, Dolphins ($1,800)
See what I wrote under Gesicki and factor in Baltimore has allowed the third-most yards (595) and second-most touchdowns (six) to tight ends.
