NFL confirms Redskins are one of the teams attending Colin Kaepernick workout

The Washington Redskins will indeed have a representative at Saturday’s workout for free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The NFL itself confirmed the 11 teams that will send reps to the event in Atlanta, as seen in the statement above.

Teams like the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots might be the most interesting of the bunch. In fact, some haven’t given the Redskins good odds at signing Kaepernick at all.

But the Redskins seem to march at the beat of their own drum, so don’t count them out after being one of the earliest teams confirmed to have someone there.

While we don’t yet know who exactly will rep the Redskins, the team will have an in-person look and get recordings of the workouts and interviews just like all the other teams.
