NFL.com predicts Bradley Chubb will earn Pro Bowl berth in 2019

In a recent piece for NFL.com, Marc Sessler predicted first-time Pro Bowl selections for every team in the NFL. For the Broncos, Sessler predicted outside linebacker Bradley Chubb will earn his first All-Star nod in 2019.

It’s not an overly bold prediction because Chubb was a Pro Bowl alternate as a rookie. Still, it’s good to see that the national media believes the edge defender is about to have a big year.

“His 12 sacks as a rookie included a midseason tear of 7.5 takedowns over a five-game stretch,” Sessler wrote. “Chubb and [Von] Miller remain the heart of this Broncos squad, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see both earn Pro Bowl honors this time around.”

Bucky Brooks, who also writes for NFL.com, recently ranked Chubb and Miller as the top pass-rushing tandem in the league. After combining to record 26.5 sacks in 2018, Chubb and Miller could probably combine to total 30 sacks this season.
