Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals
NFL Regular season Week 8
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Date: Sunday, 27 October, 2019
Kick-off: 5pm BST
Last season’s Super Bowl runners-up come to Wembley on Sunday as the Los Angeles Rams play host to the Cincinnati Bengals in the penultimate London Series game of the season.
The NFL returns to Wembley, where the bulk of its UK games have taken place, after the first two fixtures of this year’s run, which saw the Oakland Raiders beat the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers hammer the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were held at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Rams were arguably the best team in the regular season last year, but were beaten in the Super Bowl by the New England Patriots, having won the NFC Championship game against the New Orleans Saints in controversial fashion.
This season, however, they have found things tougher, in the third season of head coach Sean McVay’s so-far highly successful tenure.
Los Angeles sit third in the NFC West with a 4-3 record, trailing the league’s surprise package, the 6-0 San Francisco 49ers, and the Russell Wilson-inspired Seattle Seahawks.
However, they still have much of the star-studded roster that performed so well last year, including Aaron Donald, recently voted the best player in football by his peers, and just last week added Jalen Ramsey in a headline trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Bengals, meanwhile, have had a horrendous start to the season, and currently sit rock-bottom of the AFC North with the worst record in the entire NFL, having lost all seven games to date.

Prediction
If you're looking for a semblance of hope for the Bengals, then you might hope that the trip to London can act as something of a reset, or perhaps that as a west coast team the logistical challenge may harm the Rams more.
The reality is that they are an awful football team right now, and the Rams look to have jerked out of their rut with a comprehensive win over the Atlanta Falcons last time out. They should make it back-to-back triumphs here.
