NFL announces Orlando to host 2019 Pro Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. _ The NFL announced Orlando will host the 2019 Pro Bowl, keeping the all-star game at Camping World Stadium for another year.

The league picked up the third-year option on the agreement with Orlando officials. In addition to the game, there are a wide range of Pro Bowl related events traditionally held at ESPN's Wide World of Sports and other venues throughout Central Florida.

The NFL has launched numerous community projects in conjunction with the Pro Bowl the past two years, holding a tree-planting ceremony in Orlando's West Lakes community, repairing a community garden in Parramore and creating a community garden at the Rosemont Community Center. Pro Bowl athletes traditionally visit local hospitals and participate in competitions with local athletes.

"We've always been looking at this as a three-year investment," Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan told the Sentinel in March before the league confirmed Orlando would host the Pro Bowl in 2019.
