NFL announces more changes for 2020 season due to COVID-19

If there is a 2020 NFL season, it’s going to look much different than we have become accustomed to. The league has announced several new changes in policy for this year intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

According to Tom Pelissero at NFL Network, players will be prohibited from exchanging jerseys after the game.

Also, fans cannot be seated on the field, both teams must travel to the stadiums via bus and the media will be banned from locker rooms.

It all seems a bit silly considering 22 players will be allowed to have full contact with eachother for 60 minutes.

49ers cornerback Richard Sherman’s reaction pretty much sums it up.

If the NFL has mastered anything, it’s paying lip service to an idea or a cause without actually doing anything helpful.

For now, the season is still on as scheduled, but some athletes may choose not to participate this year.
