NFL announces date and time of Rams-Bengals game in London

The Los Angeles Rams are heading to London again next season where they will host Zac Taylor and the Cincinnati Bengals. The NFL announced on Wednesday that the two teams will square off at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. ET.

The game will be in Week 8 of the season, meaning the Rams and Bengals will likely have byes in Week 9. Last season, the Rams and Chiefs had Week 12 byes after they were supposed to play in Mexico City in Week 11, though the game was moved to L.A. due to field conditions.

The Rams played in London in 2016 and 2017, facing the Giants and Cardinals, respectively. When the team moved to Los Angeles three years ago, the league required the Rams to play an international game each season until they moved into their new stadium in 2020.

This will be the 14th matchup between the Rams and Bengals all-time, with the last coming in 2015. It also marks the first time Taylor will face his former team since becoming the Bengals coach. He was the Rams’ quarterbacks coach under Sean McVay in 2018 and joined L.A.’s staff in 2017 as the assistant wide receivers coach.

The Rams last played at Wembley Stadium in 2012 when they were blown out by the Patriots, 45-7. Their last two London games were played at Twickenham Stadium.

The full 2019 regular-season schedule will be released Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.
