Patriots trade DE Michael Bennett to Cowboys

The Dallas cowboys have added a pass rusher and he’s all too familiar with the Eagles.

According to Adam Schefter, the New England Patriots are trading defensive end Michael Bennett to the Eagles’ NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.

New England is trading DE Michael Bennett to the Dallas Cowboys for 7th-round pick that can go to a 6th-round pick in 2021, league sources tell @Schultz_Report and me.

The Patriots will receive a 2021 seventh-round pick that could eventually improve to a sixth-round pick if conditions are met, Schefter reported.

Bennett had previously been suspended a game for conduct detrimental and had amassed 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 1 pass defended in six games with the Patriots.
