Former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell insists he would pull the trigger on a deal to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp.
The Paris Saint-Germain star faces an uncertain few months as clubs ready themselves for a changing landscape amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Neymar left Barcelona for £198m back in 2017 but was close to a return to his former club last summer before the deal was kiboshed.
And now former Barca decision maker Rosell - who originally brought the Brazilian to the club in 2013 - admits he would sanction a deal for the 28-year-old's return.
But he did send a warning to his former club on how to get the best out of him if Neymar heads back to Catalonia and links up with Lionel Messi once again.
Speaking to Radio Marca, he said: "If I were the president of Barca, I would try to sign Neymar.
"He is the second-best player in the world after Messi and fits perfectly into the philosophy of the club.
"But with experience, I would sign him with two contracts, one sports and the other behavioural."
Rosell's comments will surely reverberate in Paris as the Ligue 1 champions take on board the views of a man who is regarded as someone who retains a profound understanding of what goes on inside the Barca boardroom.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain suggest Neymar is among a clutch of key PSG players who are believed to be against a 70 per cent pay cut as the world adapts amid the coronavirus pandemic.
SPORT claims players including Neymar, Ander Herrera, Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva are not in favour of a pay decrease but Kylian Mbappe is on board with it.
