Neymar suffers transfer blow as PSG make Gareth Bale decision - latest rumours

Paris Saint-Germain have ruled out any possibility of a swap deal involving Neymar - according to a report.

The Brazilian superstar is seemingly desperate to engineer an exit from the Ligue 1 champions this summer with a return to Spain his most likely destination.

A second spell at Barcelona is believed to be Neymar's first choice but speculation this week brought Real Madrid into the running.

They're trying to offload Gareth Bale and the possibility of a swap deal involving the two players had been reported by European media.

But now, according to L'Equipe, PSG are not interested in anything but a cash transaction should Neymar leave the club.

Bale, meanwhile, is understood to have offers from China worth £1million-a-week.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane infuriated the star's agent earlier this week as he admitted the Welshman's exit would be best for all parties.

Jonathan Barnett accused Zidane of disrespecting his client, an allegation the Frenchman strongly denied.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are fed up being linked with Bruno Fernandes and Nicolas Pepe.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder and Lille winger have been consistently touted as Old Trafford transfer targets this summer.

But, according to our colleagues at The Mirror, United suspect they're being used by agents and clubs to ramp up interest in the pair.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does, however, want to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City.

The Foxes have already rejected two bids for the centre-back as they hold out for £80-90m.

Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff is also a target and the club are expected to make a move for the former Kilmarnock loanee.
