Neymar's potential return to Barcelona could depend on the La Liga side's willingness to include two players in a deal to land the Brazilian.
Paris Saint-Germain have made no secret of their desire to move on from the wantaway striker this summer but have yet to receive the right offer for the unhappy 27-year-old.
Barcelona have kept their cards close to their chest in transfer season's biggest game of poker but a couple of "key chips" could help swing the deal.
Philippe Coutinho faces an uncertain future at the Nou Camp after the arrival of Antoine Griezmann and a return for Neymar would all but certainly end his Barca career.
But Coutinho could be used as part of a deal to sweeten a return for Neymar who left for PSG in a world record £197million switch back in 2017.
Rampaging right-back Nelson Semedo is another player who French football expert Jonathan Johnson reckons could entice Thomas Tuchel's side into sanctioning the striker's departure.
The Portugal international has impressed during his time in La Liga but Johnson reckons PSG's need for a new full-back could help secure a deal.
Reports in Spain suggest players-plus-cash remains the most realistic avenue in securing Neymar's return to Barcelona.

Johnson told Sky Sports: "Neymar is in limbo.
"PSG are waiting for an offer to be put forward from an interested club, notably Barcelona.
“At this moment in time, as Leonardo pointed out, there has been no real change in the situation, no solid offer has been put in front of PSG.
“It seems obvious that Barcelona at this moment are only in a position where they are going to be able to use players as the main bargaining chip to land the Brazilian.
“The player that seems to have the unanimity at the moment for a deal like this is Coutinho.
“He’d be the key chip sort of in any potential deal.
“The other player that I think would make a lot of sense for PSG (is Semedo).
“It’s certainly a position they’re looking to strengthen in since Dani Alves left on a free transfer, so Semedo is somebody else that PSG might be hoping that Barcelona will be willing to sacrifice in order to make this deal possible.”
