Neymar hits back at Marcus Rashford on Instagram post celebrating Man Utd win at PSG

Neymar has hit back at Marcus Rashford after the striker posted an image on Instagram reliving Man Utd's win over PSG a year ago.

Rashford bagged the last-minute winning penalty which saw United progress to the Champions League quarter-finals instead of Neymar's side this time last year.

United had looked on their way out having trailed 2-0 from the first leg at Old Trafford, before PSG furthered their lead to 3-1 on aggregate at the Parc des Princes.

But a second goal from Romelu Lukaku pulled United back within touching distance before Rashford fired home the winner from the spot to cap a truly magical night in Paris.

Although Neymar doesn't quite see it that way.

Rashford captioned a post of him scoring the winning penalty with the line: "March 6th 2019. What a night."

Former teammate Lukaku was among those to comment, posting a series of fire emojis.

But Neymar's reply wasn't quite so friendly, as the Brazilian wrote: "F****** night."

The PSG superstar did follow up his sentence with laughing emojis to show he was just joking with Rashford, though Neymar certainly didn't take it well at the time.

United had been awarded the stoppage time penalty by VAR after Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have handled the ball when attempting to block a shot.

Kimpembe had his back turned when the ball struck his arm from close range, and the shot was seemingly heading off target.

Neymar was ruled out of the clash through injury, but watched on from the stands as PSG were cruelly dumped out of the competition.

After the match, Neymar ranted: "This is a disgrace, they put four people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR.

"There is no penalty. How can it be a handball when it hits his back?! Go f*** yourselves!"

Seems like he's over it now though. Maybe.
